Getting updates

How you receive updates depends on where you got JamoMoa.

Direct download (GitHub) version

When a new version is out, the app checks for it automatically and installs it in place — no need to re-download. To check yourself, use the menu-bar icon or Settings ▸ About ▸ Check for Updates…, and if you’d rather not have automatic checks, turn them off under Settings ▸ General ▸ Automatically check for updates.

Mac App Store version

The App Store handles updates automatically. There’s no in-app update check, and nothing to configure.
