JamoMoa is distributed through GitHub Releases. Download the DMG and drag the app into /Applications — that’s the whole install.

System requirements

  • macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later
  • Apple Silicon and Intel both supported (universal binary)

Install

  1. Click the button above and download the most recent release’s .dmg.
  2. Open the DMG and drag the JamoMoa icon onto the Applications shortcut beside it.
  3. Launch JamoMoa from Launchpad or Spotlight.
  4. macOS may block the first launch. Open System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway”. The app is properly signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized, but Apple still asks the user to approve the first run.

Updates

JamoMoa checks for new versions through an EdDSA-signed appcast, and every DMG is notarized & stapled by Apple. New versions install in place — no need to re-download. You can also check manually from Settings ▸ About ▸ Check for Updates…, or turn off Settings ▸ General ▸ Automatically check for updates if you’d rather do it by hand.
